Matthew 28:19 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
In the church of God, we are called out people. We are those who believe in Jesus Christ and accept His doctrines. We obey the doctrines and follow the commandments of God.
Being a Christian is not just a casual thing, we are those who are the followers of Jesus Christ. There are doctrines which we must accept and follow if we want to be the disciples of Jesus Christ. We are taught how to pray. We are also taught to be people who walk by love. We are taught to love one another. We are the children of God.
Acts 2:41 (KJV) Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
One of the doctrines which we are taught in the church is baptism. Every organization has its entry procedures. In the same way, the church has its entry point. The entry point into the church is baptism. Baptism is what everyone who wants to follow Jesus Christ must receive.
Baptism distinguishes us from other people. Through baptism we publicly declare our stand for Jesus Christ. We cannot ignore baptism and think that we are doing the will of God. The Bible says we should be baptized for the remission of our sins. Baptism is an important doctrine in the church. Let those who have not received baptism come and be baptized so that they will be able to fulfill the full doctrines of Jesus Christ.
