God has not given the ability to understand His word to everyone. The wisdom of this world is naughtiness before God. God choose the foolish ones of this world to confound the wise. God does not share His glory with men.
The Word of God is not understood by the wisdom of men. The wisdom of men is foolishness before God. That is why the most educated people cannot understand the mysteries of God word. It is not with human reasoning that we understand the Word of God.
The world is full of pride. The proud people in the world cannot understand the Word of God. The things of God are foolishness unto them. They reject the knowledge of God because of the deception which the devil has planted in their hearts. So, the wise and nobles of this world receive not the things of God.
We can only understand the Word of God through the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that teaches us of the things of God and reveals the mysteries of God unto us. When a person has the Holy Spirit, he will be able to understand the Word of God.
