17 He therefore revealed to him all his heart, and said to him: No razor ever came to my head; because I am a Nazarite of God from my mother's womb. If I be shaved, my strength will depart from me, and I will become weak and will be like all men.

We remember the story of Samson and the vow that his parents made to the Lord. Samson fulfilled his promise to God, but Delilah discovered the secret of his strength and used that information to benefit herself. She exchanged the information for silver, thus conspiring to benefit the Philistines. Delilah understood that by cautiously cutting his hair later his enemy could capture him since he would not have any more strength.
18 When Delilah saw that he had revealed all his heart to her, he sent for the leaders of the Philistines, saying, Come this time, for he has revealed all his heart to me. And the leaders of the Philistines came to her, carrying her money in her hand. 19 And she made him fall asleep on her knees, and called a man, who shaved the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, for her strength departed from him. 20 And she said to him, Samson, the Philistines are upon you! And as soon as he woke up from her dream, she said to herself: This time I will go out like the others and I will escape. But he did not know that Jehovah had already departed from him. 21 But the Philistines laid hands on him, and put out his eyes, and took him to Gaza; and they tied him with chains so that he could grind in prison.
Judges 16:18-21
After all this humiliating situation he was able to effectively understand that long hair was not his source of power, the source was God, all his strength came from him, Samson during his life carried the fulfillment of the promise that their fathers did to God and finally won by defeating the Philistines in the place where they worshiped.
5 For behold, you will conceive and give birth to a son; and no razor will pass on his head, because the child will be a Nazarite to God from his birth, and he will begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.
Judges 13:5
This end of the story of Samson reminds us that we can alter the course of our lives, even when all the weather is unfavorable it is not too late to carry out God's work in us, it only depends on our decision and determination.
If today we are going through a moment of hopelessness or we fall into the thought that due to the number of mistakes we have made it is difficult to serve God or be useful to Him, let us rethink and look carefully at the story of Samson. No matter where we come from, it is necessary that we know that we are precious in the eyes of God, that God has created us according to his likeness for his purpose, he put eternity in us and his work is carried out through our lives, we are instruments of justice in your hands.

Recordamos la historia de Sansón y el voto que sus padres hicieron al Señor. Sansón cumplió con la promesa a Dios, pero Dalila descubrió el secreto de su fuerza y utilizó esa información para beneficiarse intercambió la información por plata conspirando así en beneficio de los filisteos. Dalila entendió que cortándole el cabello de manera cautelosa posteriormente sus enemigo podrían apresarlo ya que no tendría mas fuerzas.
18 Viendo Dalila que él le había descubierto todo su corazón, envió a llamar a los principales de los filisteos, diciendo: Venid esta vez, porque él me ha descubierto todo su corazón. Y los principales de los filisteos vinieron a ella, trayendo en su mano el dinero. 19 Y ella hizo que él se durmiese sobre sus rodillas, y llamó a un hombre, quien le rapó las siete guedejas de su cabeza; y ella comenzó a afligirlo, pues su fuerza se apartó de él. 20 Y le dijo: ¡Sansón, los filisteos sobre ti! Y luego que despertó él de su sueño, se dijo: Esta vez saldré como las otras y me escaparé. Pero él no sabía que Jehová ya se había apartado de él. 21 Mas los filisteos le echaron mano, y le sacaron los ojos, y le llevaron a Gaza; y le ataron con cadenas para que moliese en la cárcel.
Jueces 16:18-21
Después de toda esta situación humillante pudo comprender de manera efectiva que el cabello largo no era su fuente de poder, la fuente era Dios, de él provenía toda su fuerza, Sansón durante su vida cargó con el cumplimiento de la promesa que sus padres hicieron a Dios y finalmente venció derrotando a los filisteos el el lugar donde ellos adoraban.
5 Pues he aquí que concebirás y darás a luz un hijo; y navaja no pasará sobre su cabeza, porque el niño será nazareo a Dios desde su nacimiento, y él comenzará a salvar a Israel de mano de los filisteos.
Jueces 13:5
Este final de la historia de Sansón nos recuerda que nosotros podemos alterar el curso de nuestras vidas, aún cuando todo el clima es desfavorable no es demasiado tarde para llevar a cabo la obra de Dios en nosotros, solo depende de nuestra decisión y determinación.
Si hoy estamos atravesando por un momento de desesperanza o caemos en el pensamiento que debido a la cantidad de errores que hemos cometido es difícil servir a Dios o serle útil, repensemos y veamos atentamente la historia de Sansón. Sin importar de dónde vengamos es necesario que sepamos que somos preciosos ante los ojos de Dios, que Dios nos ha creado conforme a su semejanza para su propósito, puso eternidad en nosotros y su obra la lleva a cabo mediante nuestras vidas, somos instrumentos de justicia en sus manos.
