People die because of many reasons, one it is scriptural that man should die once, after which judgement follows; Heb 9:27. People also die as a result of old age. Sickness, diseases and infirmities are also responsible for people’s death. The first man and woman in the bible, Adam and Eve lost God’s beautiful plan of good health and longevity in the garden of Eden due to sin of disobedience. God cursed and drove them out of the garden of Eden and at last, death killed them.
Many people have died due to sins of immortality which led to contacting deadly diseases as ‘Aids’ and they died eventually. People also die due to natural disasters such as; earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, epidemics etc. Poverty is another major cause of people’s death. Deprivation due to poverty have killed a lot of people. When one is suffering from terminal sickness and could not afford to treat oneself due to poverty death will eventually follow.
People also die as a result of cruelty and man’s inhumanity to man such as; wars, assassinations, kidnapping etc. There is a thousand and one reasons why people die, just to mention a few.
