The Bible admonishes us to have exercise. It tells us that exercise is good. It says that bodily exercise has benefits to our body. When we have exercise, it is good for us. Exercise is a good thing.
When we compare the exercise of the body with our spiritual exercise, the difference is much. The difference between exercise of the body and that of the spirit is much. Exercising our body cannot profit us like the way we exercise our spirit.
Spiritual exercise has rewards even unto eternal life. That is, exercising our spirit can be very rewarding. It is equally helpful in strengthening our health. The spiritual exercise like meditating on the word of God; praying; fasting and many more has great rewards for our lives.
But when we consider the physical exercise without comparing it with the spiritual exercise, we will discover that the profits are much. So, one of the ways that we can live healthy is by doing regular exercise.
