Learning about the doctrines of Jesus Christ is the sure way of salvation. There is no salvation in any other name except the name of Jesus. Those who receive the message of Jesus Christ and believe it are those who will be saved.
Isaiah 53:6 (KJV) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
We all have gone astray as the Bible says it. We have all left the way of God and follow the traditions of men. We have neglected the commandments of God. Our rebellious and stiff-necked attitude have only qualified us for condemnation. There is just an horrible end for every man outside Jesus Christ. Salvation comes only from the doctrines of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 17:5 (KJV) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Jesus Christ is our Teacher whom God has sent to teach us the way to salvation. He is the Teacher whom God has instructed us to listen to. Listening to the teachings of the doctrines will grant us the privilege of hearing the true doctrines of God.
1 Timothy 3:15 (KJV) But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
We are learning how we ought to behave ourselves and conduct our conversation to please God. The doctrines teach us the ways of God and help us to understand his commandments.
