Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 6:11-18, Habakkuk 2:28-19, Psalm 115:4-8
God bless MCGICARES for all the wonderful teachings done through Bro Eli Soriano with the help of God.
So to answer our question, does God hear Idol worshippers?
Firstly an idol is a physical object that portrays a God that doesn't exist.
God's words on idol worship are clear: He does not listen to idol worshippers. The Bible emphasizes this point in various passages. In 2 Corinthians 6:11-18, God commands believers to separate themselves from idolaters and not partner with them, demonstrating His dislike for idolatry. Also, Habakkuk 2:18 talks about the futility of praying to lifeless idols who cannot hear or respond. Psalm 115:4-8 confirms this by emphasizing the uselessness of idols, stating they cannot speak, see, or hear.
In Bro Eli Soriano's words, "God does not listen to idol worshippers, and not even the idols want to listen to them."
This is because idols don't have life in them according to Psalm 115. Idols are the works of men. Men are created by God, so you cannot leave the creator and worship the works made by His creations. Only God is the one true God and there is none like Him.
Therefore, it is clear that God does not listen to idol worshippers due to the sinful nature of idolatry and the powerlessness of idols. To have prayers heard by God, one must turn away from idolatry, obey God's commands, live righteously, and pray with a pure heart.
