There are so many reasons why we feel we are far from God but according to Bro Eli Soriano in his teaching, he said "It is because we have taken a road that makes us very far from God."*
One thing that is certain and undisputable is that God is never always far from us, He is always near. I know this from Jeremiah 31:3 "I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself."
Now, you have to understand that God's presence is not based on your feelings because He is always there.
But then, according to Bro Soriano, we have gone far from God in our thoughts, ways, characters, attitudes, etc. We have allowed our distractions to see us from God.
What's the solution or cure to this according to Bro Eli Soriano from the scriptures? It's in
Malachi 3:7 Even from the days of your fathers you have gone away from My ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. But you said, 'In what way shall we return?'
The solution is simple RETURN BACK TO HIM!
God is never the one who left, you are the one who left because He said in His Word " I will never leave you nor forsake you"
Returning to God's ordinances and ways, we should ask for forgiveness and align our will with God's will.
Do it God's way!
Walk God's path!
