TOPIC REVIEW: DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY, HOW TO OVERCOME THESE BIBLICALLY

In our second topic review on how to overcome depression we understood from scriptures that God is very intentional about our soul that nothing ever happens without his consent even to the sparrows the can not die without him permitting it talk more of is created in his own image God really cares for us more than we can imagine also brother Eli emphasized on us not been preoccupied by death but by what is to come after death Although God is a miracle working God yes we can expect a miracle to happen in the sense that God can heal every dead cell in us He can also raise us back to life yet the final journey of every man on earth is death

From the third series of the teaching I came to understand that it is better to have the Job kind of mentality here on earth wen he lost everything that he had including his children and his health he was never depressed or angry at God he understood that for everything he had acquired here on earth was from God and that he came into this world with nothing nit even a cloth and on the day he will depart from the world he was also going with nothing with that mindset he had the peace of God that passes all understanding even when his wife came to persuade him to cure God he cautioned his wife not to speak evil against God we saw that in the book of Job 2:9-10 and Job 1:21

Like Job we came into this world with nothing and we also will leave with nothing we should not also blame God for what is happening in our life or even get angry with him he is the all knowing God for anything he allowed to happen he did it for a purpose either to test our faith in him like Job or for the glory of God to be revealed to the world he sees the end from the beginning instead of complaining and worry we should rather be giving him thanks and praises knowing that he has our best of interest at heart everything he does is for our own good All we have to do just like 1 Peter 5:7 said we should put all our trust in him for he always cares for us he always and forever cares for us even more than we can care for ourself only trust in him amd he will make your ways perfect
