People keep asking if religion is needed for the salvation of our soul. Frist it all I was made to understand that religion is a doctrine which was approved by God alimghty, so we are not expected to be seen as people who will depise the religion which God almighty has established for us.
We need religion truely for the salvation of our soul, because when we are into sin our soul keep wandering from one place to another more in sin, it keeps sinning. Religion according to Brother Eli Soriano greatly bind us together with God because it makes us to always come closer to God so that the salvation of our soul can be restored and permanent.
Brother Eli Soriano also made us to understand that religion is a way through we worship God and giving total dedication to the works and service of God because if we are committed to the things of God , how then can we be saved. Jesus Christ made religion as a way through which we can be a partaker of his kingdom so that we can be seen as people who always keep doing his will , always ready to do the doctrine and commandments of God
According to the book of MALACHI 3:7 God has made us to understand that we have allowed the things of the world to take us away from God that is why we are seen as people who are away from God, we are now seen as people who do not keep to the commandments and God's teaching. But through the ordination of religion God had greatly created a space enough for us to always come closer to him because he is everly ready to take us back and have compassion upon our soul.
In CONCLUSION i was also able to understand that Charity and giving to people who are truely in need is part of religion according to the book of JAMES 1:27. We are to practice the love of Christ Jesus which he has showed to us through all ways. That is thesame way God wants us to be seen as people who are fully devoted in doing his works here on earth.
