That is the lesson I have learned from this video. The Bible teaches us to pray. We have no questions regarding whether we should pray or not. It is God's commandment that we should pray. So, we have to obey the instructions of God.
Matthew 7:7 (KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Prayer is the way we make our request known unto God. Like Father and His family, he is happy to answer all our prayers. He loves us so much. He wouldn't want us to suffer. He is willing at all times to answer our prayers.
The doctrines of the Bible which we must follow include that we pray with faith. We should pray without anything wavering. We have that believe that God will answer and provide what we are asking Him for.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We must understand that without faith it will be impossible to please God. If we cannot please Him, how can we be sure that He has heard our request? We should put our faith to work. Like Bro Eli Soriano tells us, we should put our faith to work whenever we pray.
James 1:5-8 (KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
