With the autumn slowly saying goodbye and the bitter embrace of winter being felt in more parts of the world, I hope everyone is safe and enjoying some cosy days under the blanket, with hot tea and a good book nearby.
Or at least that's what I was dreaming of lately after being very busy with work and all kinds of projects. Being a freelancer is not easy and fun as some might think so let's say that this is a very busy period for me with all my clients wanting to get ready in advance the merch and stuff for Christmas.
But, being close to celebrate my 7th year on the chain, I know for a fact that no matter what turn my life takes or what it happens in general, there will never be something to stop me from writing. And that's how today the first thing in the morning I did after having my coffee, was to get ready this post for which I picked the theme "Colours", yet a thing that I miss lately with all the grumpy weather outside my window.
As always, I will suggest this post also for the CCC's Street Art Contest #221! This is a community that I suggest everyone to check out as it's so much fun.
The first and my favourite out of all the five street arts I picked for today's post, is this piece of art that is one of the most recent additions in town. There are these from 2024, obviously, but while I did not get the chance to check them out yet, here's one from 2023 that represents so well the theme for today. Sadly, there is no story to be shared about this one.
Name: Vernal Equinox (2023)
Artists: Christian Stanley
Location: Strada Postăvarilor 18, Sibiu 550081, Romania
The next one, is a very interesting piece of art as I met it on the way to a different one I was aiming for, the one from above not even being part of the Sibiu Internation Street Art Festival that adds more murals in town yearly with every new edition. However, it seemed good enough to take a picture of it and include it in this post too. Once again we have full freedom of interpreting the art.

Next up, we have a fairly old graffiti but it is resisting so well in front of the passage of time that makes me proud to be able to still admire it 8 years later since it was created. Neither in this case a story is available to be shared further, but based on its name the art suggests local artists, history and parts that could sound familiar only to those who are studying nearby, as it is placed one one of the walls of a college and from what I understood some of the elements are part of what students see on the covers of school books.
Name: „Ca o pasăre în zbor / Eu sînt şoimul şoimilor / Şi deviza mea-i mândria / De-a trăi în România!” (2016)
Artists: SADDO & PREN
Location: Strada Electricienilor 1, Sibiu 550311, România
The single street art of today's post that comes with a story is this one, which shows various human poses, each representing a different emotion and mood. This is meant to present how energies connect people no matter what each of the characters is going through, yet a thing that we pay too little attention to and forget being humans after all.
Name: HUMAN (2018)
Artists: LUCHIAN X CONSTANTIN RUSU
Location: Strada Spartacus 4-6, Sibiu 550282, România
Last but not least, I found this lovely painting which seems very close to what children create as their first ever drawing. It actually used to be a different graffiti on this wall but it was replaced with what we can see these days. Based on this aspect, I thought it would still be lovely to add it to this post even if it's not as professional as the others. I do feel, however, that it says a powerful story even without using words. Something like... don't forget to be a kid no matter how hard life is.
