Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Son birkaç gün benim için çok yoğundu. Hem doktor hem de çok sevgili bir arkadaşımın kınası vardı. Ayrıca doktor maceram hâlâ da devam ediyor. Anlayacağınız pestilim çıktı ve ne yazık ki hiçbir şey yazamadım. Ama bugün sizinle kınada giyeceğim kıyafete emin olmadığımdan ve internetten de sipariş vermeye zamanım olmadığımdan dolayı gittiğim sosyete pazarından bahsetmek istiyorum.

Hazır yine araba kiralamışken ve bir şeylere de ihtiyacım varken bir sosyal medya platformundan (İnstagram) bu yer hakkında bilgi sahibi oldum. Artık ekonomik durumlardan dolayı herkes bu tarz yerlere yönelmeye başladı. Bence oldukça anlaşılabilir bir durum. Bunun çok güzel bir örneğini birazdan sizinle paylaşacağım.

Bundan önce genelde kına tarzı organizasyonlarda aşırı abiye giyinmeye karşıyım. Orada parlaması gereken kişi gelin ve damatken simli pullu şeyler giymeye gerek yok bence. Bu yüzden hedefim simsiyah giyinmek olmasa da ne yazık ki büyük beden biri olarak buna mecbur kaldım.

Neyse. Bakırköy Sosyete Pazarı'nda yaklaşık 3 saat dolaştık. Aslında o kadar da büyük görünmese de çok fazla şey var.

Hatta 3 ya da 4 tane gözleme yapan yer dahi vardı. Genelde fiyatları 100 TL altındaydı çok fazla değil gibi ama oradaki eşyaların fiyatları ile karşılaştırınca oldukça pahalı buldum. Düşünsenize, oraya 3 kişi gitmişsiniz, bu 3 gözleme eder yani 300 TL. İçeceksiz bir de. Ama yukarıdaki görselin sol alt köşesinde bir gömleğin 300 TL olduğu yazıyor. O yüzden biraz pahalı buldum gözlemeleri.

Bazı kıyafetler oldukça uygunken bazıları da çok pahalıydı. Mesela annem çok basit bir elbisenin fiyatını sorduğunda 700 TL cevabını aldı ama benzer bir elbise 2 tezgah ileride 250 TL idi. Bana özellikle de arama ve karşılaştırmaya zamanınız varsa ucuz geldi. Ama sorun nerede başlıyor biliyor musunuz? Büyük beden olduğunuzda. Bu büyük bedenden bahsederken 5XL'tan bahsetmiyor. 2XL ve 3XL'tan bahsediyorum. Oldukça üzücü bir durum.

Harika elbiseler buldum. Modellerini de çok beğendim. Renkleri de çok güzeldi, turuncular, yeşiller, ve pembeler. Şahsen pembe giymezdim, yeşil ve turuncu olabilirdi. Ama S yerine başka bir beden olsaydı güzel olurdu...

1.5 saat araştırmanın sonucunda bir şey bulamayınca aklıma evde olan bir klasik pantolon geldi ve üzerine bir bluz ya da crop tişört arayışına çıktım bu sefer. Bu arayış sırasında ise harika bir yer buldum.

Şimdi, çakma parfümleri hepimiz biliyoruz. Burası bambaşka bir boyut. Bazı satıcılar gerçekten orjinal parfümlerin şişelerinin defolu olanlarını satıyor bazıları da bu durumu çolk abartmış. Ben bir satıcıdan favori parfümümü 350 TL'ye aldım. Versace Bright Crystal. İnanamazsınız kokusu ve kalıcılığı tıpatıp aynısı ve tek sorunu şişesinin kapağında.

Biraz daha gezerken annem parfümlerin 50 TL olduğu karmaşık bir tezgah gördü ve "50 TL'yi neye vermiyorum ki?" diyerek aynı parfümden bir tane daha aldı. Bu tamamen beklediği bir hayal kırıklığıydı.

Kapağı bile yoktu. Kokusundan bahsetmiyorum bile. Sanki gül suyu koymuşlar. Hatta annemle fiyakalı şişede gül suyu aldın diye dalga da geçtim. Olsun annemin gönlünün olması daha önemliydi.

Parfüm aldığım tezgahın hemen yanında sadece tayt satan bir yer daha vardı ve şaşırtıcı ki benim bedenim vardı. 250 TL'ye yıllardır aradığım gibi bir taytı buldum. Mutluyum bu konuda. Umarım bir sonraki gidişimde veya ihtiyacım olduğunda o satıcı hâlâ orada olur.

Yazlık da giyilebilir ve kışın da pantolonun altına ısıtması için giyilebilir diye düşündüm. Çok garip bir kumaşı var. Umarım pişmem. Daha dışrıda giymeye şansım olmadı.

Biraz daha gezerken ki yorulmuştuk ve artık bluz bulma zamanı gelmişti. Biraz daha bakarken sonunda siyah tişört benzeri bir şey bulabildim.

Ben beğendim açıkçası. Bana olamayacakmış gibi görünse de başlangıçta satıcı orada denememe izin verdi. Güzel de oldu, yani en azından ben üzerimde beğendim.

Çok da mutlu görünmüyorum biliyorum ama inanın arkadaşım mutlu diye mutluyum. Uzağa gidecek de üzgünüm fakat bu yine de onun mutluluğu ve geleceği. Hatta bakın makyajım ve saçımla da gurur duyuyordum 🤣

İyi bir iş çıkardım. Neyse. Biz sosyete pazarına geri dönelim. Bu aldıklarımızdan başka bir şey almadık, nakit konusunda biraz hazırlıksız gelmiştik çünkü son dakika kararıydı. Para bitince enerjimiz iyice bitti. Zaten pazar da çok kalabalıktı. Cidden kalabalıktı... Nefes almak dahi zordu. Yazın ilk sıcaklıklarını yaşıyoruz sonuçta. Dün bile 34 C° idi. Piştim...

Eve döndüğümüzde herkesin yorgunluğu çok fazla olduğu için dedik ki dışarıdan bir şeyler söyleyelim. Annem ve teyzem açıık pide istedi ki teyzemlerin orada içini getiriğinizde pide ve lahmacun yapan bir yer varmış. Marketten hemen sucuk ve kaşar alarak onları hazırlayıp eniştemi gönderdik.

23 tane pide çıktı. Yorgunluk ve açlıktan hepimiz saldırdık ama babam bile 2 tane yiyebildi. Oldukça doyurucuydu ve toplam 220 TL tuttu. O gün gerçekten de ucuzluk günüydü sanırım.

Sanırım benden bugünlük bu kadar. Bugün ultrason randevum var ve oraya gitmeden önce sizinle bu yeri payloaşmak istedim. Listeme eklediğim daha çok yer var böyle ve gittikçe sizinle de paylaşacağım. Umarım kısa zamanlarda gidebilirim ama sonbaharı beklemeyi düşünüyorum. Yaz sıcağında o kalabalık çekilmez. Bir de yarın yine Başakşehir Çam ve Sakura Şehir Hastanesi'ne gideceğim. I hope you are well or are trying to be well. The last few days were very busy for me. I had both a doctor's and a very dear friend's henna ceremony. Also, my doctor adventure is still going on. But today I want to talk to you about the high society bazaar/sosyete pazarı (if the translation is accurate) that I went to because I wasn't sure about the outfit I was going to wear at the henna and I didn't have time to order it online.

While we were renting a car again and I needed something, I got information about this place from a social media platform (Instagram). Now everyone has started to turn to such places due to economic situations. I think it is quite understandable. I will share a very good example of this with you in a moment.

Before this, I am generally against wearing excessive evening dresses in henna-style organisations. I think there is no need to wear silvery sequins when the bride and groom are the ones who should shine there. Therefore, although my goal was not to wear jet black, unfortunately, as a plus size person, I was forced to do so.

Anyway. We wandered around Bakırköy Sosyete Pazarı for about 3 hours. In fact, although it doesn't look that big, there are a lot of things.

There were even 3 or 4 flatbread places. In general, their prices were under 100 TL, not too much, but I found it quite expensive compared to the prices of the goods there. Think about it, you went there for 3 people, that's 3 pancakes, 300 TL (9,30 USD). And without a drink. But in the lower left corner of the image above, it says that a shirt is 300 TL. That's why I found the flatbreads a bit expensive.

Some clothes were quite affordable while others were very expensive. For example, when my mum asked the price of a very simple dress, she got the answer 700 TL (21,70 USD), but a similar dress was 250 TL (7,75 USD) 2 stalls away. It seemed cheap to me, especially if you have time to search and compare. But do you know where the problem starts? When you are plus size. When talking about this plus size, it's not about 5XL. I'm talking about 2XL and 3XL. It's quite sad.

I found some wonderful dresses. I liked the models very much and the colours were beautiful, oranges, greens, and pinks. Personally I wouldn't wear pink, maybe green and orange. But it would be nice if there was another size instead of S...

After 1.5 hours of searching, I couldn't find anything, so I thought of a pair of classic trousers I had at home and went in search of a blouse or a crop top. During this search, I found a great place.

Now, we all know about knock-off perfumes. This is a completely different dimension. Some sellers really sell faulty bottles of original perfumes, and some have exaggerated this situation. I bought my favourite perfume from a seller for 350 TL (10,85 USD), Versace Bright Crystal. You can't believe it, the smell and permanence are exactly the same and the only problem is on the cap of the bottle.

While walking around a bit more, my mother saw a chaotic stall where the perfumes were 50 TL (1,55 USD) and said ‘What am I not paying 50 TL for?’ and bought another one of the same perfume. This was a disappointment she was completely expecting.

It didn't even have a lid. Not to mention the smell. It was like they put rose water in it. I even made fun of my mom for buying rose water in a fancy bottle. It was more important for my mom to be happy.

Right next to the stall where I bought perfume, there was another place that only sold tights and surprisingly they had my size. For 250 TL (7,75 USD), I found a pair of leggings I've been looking for for years. I am happy about this. I hope that vendor will still be there the next time I go or when I need them.

I thought it could be worn in summer and in winter under trousers for warmth. It has a very strange fabric. I hope I don't burn my skin. I haven't had a chance to wear it outside yet.

We were tired after a bit more walking around and it was time to find a blouse. While looking a bit more, I finally found something like a black t-shirt.

I like it, to be honest. Initially the seller let me try it on there, even though it looked like it wasn't going to work for me. It turned out well, at least I liked it on me.

I know I don't look very happy, but believe me, I'm happy that my friend is happy. I'm sorry that she will go away, but this is still her happiness and future. Look, I was even proud of my make-up and hair 🤣

I did a good job. Anyway. Let's get back to the bazaar. We didn't buy anything other than what we bought, we were a bit unprepared for cash because it was a last minute decision. When the money ran out, we ran out of energy. Anyway, the bazaar was very crowded. It was really crowded... Even breathing was difficult. After all, we are experiencing the first heat of summer. Even yesterday it was 34°C. Hot...

When we got back home, everyone was very tired, so we said, let's order something from outside. My mom and my aunt wanted open pita bread, and there was a place at my aunt's place that made pita bread and lahmacun when you brought the filling inside. We immediately bought sausage and kashkaval from the supermarket, prepared them, and sent them to my uncle.

There were 23 pita bread. We all pounced because of tiredness and hunger, but even my father could eat 2 of them. It was quite filling and cost 220 TL (6,82 USD) in total. I guess that day was really a bargain day.

I think that's it for today. I have an ultrasound appointment today and I wanted to share this place with you before I go there. There are more places like this that I have added to my list and I will share them with you as I go. I hope I can go soon, but I think I will wait for autumn. That crowd is unbearable in the summer heat. Also, tomorrow I will go to Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital again.
