And the winner is...
Firstly apologies for the delay with announcing week 55's winner of 4 shares of SBI/HBI. As most of you know I have been on holidays and although I did continue to post I did not have the time for this post, as it is by far the most time consuming and enjoyable one of the week as I make my way around to your posts to survey the musical brilliance served up from around the world. Anyway here I am, so let's get down to business.
Welcome welcome Three Tune Tuesday readers and contributors, it is that time of the week when I give out the prizes for the week, that being four shares of SBI. Better than the shares in SBI though is the Title of Three Tune Tuner of the week, a title that is worn with pride.
As always thanks to the sponsors @blanchy @blackdaisyft and @por500bolos for matching my 1 share of SBI/HBI for the winner.
Right, Ok, now for the benefit of new readers, every Tuesday I pick three songs, sometimes all three from the same artist, sometimes three tunes from a particular genre, other times three songs from a certain country - you get the idea. I've always asked others to get involved and over the past few weeks, that is exactly what's happened and we now have some ThreeTune regulars which is fantastic! The ask is to basically choose three songs to share. You can sing them or hum them or just pick three from an artist you love like I do, which is what most people do each week.
Here is a link to last week's post - at the end I said that I would pick someone who shared some decent tunes and give them a share in Hive basic income courtesy of me. Once again, we had some top class entries and new songs for our collective ears, which is class.

Huge thanks to this week's ThreeTuneTuesday devotees in no particular order @por500bolos @coquicoin @tengolotodo @princessbusayo @blanchy @sagesigma @blackdaisyft @gingerup @fionasfavourites @riverflows @olawalium @gi-de-on @mineopoly @zyzymena @merit.ahama @wwwiebe for taking time to share their tunes with our community here on Hive.
That's 17 including myself which is double figures again! Fuck me sideways, this thing is taking off and sure isn't it mighty!
Hive Basic Income
Again for the benefit of new readers, are you new to Hive? Are you struggling to get support on those first posts of yours? Have you come back to Hive recently and are struggling in a similar fashion? If so, I would advise you to keep an eye out for competitions that offer you Hive Basic Income shares. These give you guaranteed upvotes from @steembasicincome, @sbi1, @sbi2, @sbi3, @sbi4, @sbi5, @sbi6, @sbi7, @sbi8, @sbi9 etc and the more shares that you have the higher their upvotes. Simples...
It is a win win situation too for the person sharing the shares, as the person sharing them also gets a share of HBI for each one they share with someone else - what's not to like about this model. You get rewarded for being kind to someone else, in fact it is like a microcosm of what the Hive blockchain actually is from a curation perspective too.
The Tunes
Right so, speaking of tunes, let's get down to it. The white flag is raised.....
@por500bolos unleashed the funk this week, oh yeah!!! I dare you to not tap your feet and get those shoulders swinging while listening to these beauties and we rock out to some CCR too, quality contributions as always.
@coquicoin brings us some absolute crackers from the musical genius Bob. Which Bob though, go click onto her page to find out more. We all know there have been a few genius Bobs in the musical arena over the years but this guy is the biggest genius of all for me.
@tengolotodo brings us shear anarchy this week with tunes from the Sex Pistols, Sham 69 and billy Idol that would even get your Granny up for a dance, even if she is in heaven, they dance up there too you know..
@princessbusayo brings us three of her fav Pop songs straight from her playlist that both make her want to dance and praise the lord. Nice one @princessbusayo, keep em coming. You are becoming a regular now.
@blanchy is in love.... with the Strokes and the classic album Is this It and also with the bass player from Pacifica who absolute nail these covers of famous songs from the Strokes, this really really works, nice one.
@sagesigma not only gives us a lesson on what a mixolydian is, but also shares three musical screamers and tops it off with Bernstein lashing out a Kinks tune and a Beatles tune to boot, nice one man.
@blackdaisyft brings us three tunes from a band I recently got into myself called Alt-J and these guys are really worth checking out. They have a unique sound and are a great listen with lots of different instruments going on.
@gingerup is all loved up and brings us on a time machine to back in the day with numbers from Percy Sledge and Dolly Parton, with a helping of Aerosmith thrown in for good measure.
@fionasfavourites is on the time machine as well this, like many of us bringing us some tasty old classics. Welcome to the ever growing #ttt gang!
@riverflows brings us a new German electronic Duo, well new to anyone, not new in the sense of how long they are making music though, as these guys are around a while, but well and truly worth checking out.
@olawalium brings us a really special song that conjures up images of his Dad, thanks for sharing. He also shares a song that is a huge favorite with my wife from Israel Kamakawiwo'ole who tragically died so young.
@mineopoly has a bluegrass, country vibe going on this week, a genre I am not well versed in, but I enjoyed tapping the foot while listening to these musical offerings.
@zyzymena is on the theme of love this week also with songs from Little Mix, Leono Lewis and A Great Big World/Christina Aguilera collaboration.
@merit.ahama brings us a trio of songs from Lauren Daigle who has a feel and sound of Adele of her, which is high praise indeed. Now not many can rival Adele, but Lauren sure gives it a go.
@wwwiebe brings us songs from the turntable of yesteryear and a few years before that, depending on your age, your Granny, Grandad or Great Granny or Great Grand-dad or maybe even great great great.... will have been listening to tunes like these
Right, grab your headphones - Here is a flavour of this week's tunes.

Honourable mentions this week go to @blanchy @sagesigma and @por500bolos, but we can only have one winner and this week it is all about @riverflows who brought us some quality tunes from Berlin Electronic Duo Modeselecktor. She takes the prize and is the Three Tune Tuner this week and recipient of 4 shares of SBI. Thanks again to @blanchy @por500bolos and @blackdaisyft for sponsoring the tunes and matching my 1 share of HBI.
