I wasn't so sure I'd end up writing today. Turns out today's outdoor movement was more brutal than expected. I had planned to get some things at the market today, and I did go with it. At first, I attended to offline work, showered, ate, and did little work online before resting for a few minutes.
After that, I headed out and... it was damn busy. There was great legbenz(legwalk) traffic and even other forms of traffic. Skin to skin was how I walked, squeezing my petite self in between people to be able to make it to the marketplace on time.
The time used at the market was... I don't think I have any words for it yet. Thankfully, I was able to get my goods and also got ingredients for yam sauce. Getting a bus back home was very hard. For some reason, the price of t-fare went up at a ridiculous price, and I just couldn't help the laugh that escaped my lips. I had no choice but to board it, knowing the stress I went through at the market and how hard it was to walk a far distance to finally get a bus back home.
Getting back home, I was more than exhausted. Geez! My limbs ache so badly that the thought of not even coming online due to being tired crept into my mind a thousand times as I lay on my bed, still, a smaller part of me wanted to write despite the tiredness that filled me in. So, I did what I always did when I felt tired, lost, or just there.
I knew the right tunes that would motivate me without fail, so I headed straight to #youtube and listened to as many songs as I could. For so many unknown “known” reasons, Jonna Jinton's song always keeps me alive.
It feels like there's some sort of healing in her voice. It enriches the soul and keeps the mind at rest. Exactly what I needed at this moment. Her song inspired me, calming me so much that I didn't know when I started writing. It is an amazing feeling. I love it.
The next song is by Fleurie. Her voice as well is beautiful. Quiet, and the beat rejuvenates the soul. They awaken every “tired” cell in my body, and just like magic, I find myself breathing calmly. It is awesome and a very interesting feeling to have.
Gavin's song "tired" does remind me of how tired I was for a few minutes, or was it an hour? And with it, I am reminded that it is okay to be tired. It is not the end of anything. So here I am with a smile as I listen to more songs on my phone.

Still yours truly,
Balikis.
Thanks for reading and listening.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
