Hello music lovers and Hello hivers!

Tuesday for me on Hive means three tune tuesday...

It's Tuesday and of course that means it's inspiration time!!

I am late today with my ttt post as I got distracted with some research about our new website and new account @mmonline.

Earlier this morning a conversation very briefly turned to Nancy!

I have not been there for years but it is a beautiful French city and it is most famous as being the home of Art Nouveau.

Today my post is inspired with Nancy

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

@ablaze started #ttt 185 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post The Philharmonik for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 184 - win 5 HBI

Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the SIX sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Where to start

So I mentioned that this morning I was talking about Nancy, it started with an Edward author and ended with a Nancy French city thank you @nancybriti1 ....

Well up popped Leonard Cohen and Seems So Long Ago, Nancy into my head!

I do like Leonard Cohen, so we shall see where this goes, it might end up being a Leonard Cohen ttt or a Nancy ttt!

First of all let's hear .....

Leonard Cohen ~ Seems So Long Ago, Nancy

He is before my time and died in 2016 aged 82, but it is appropriate with his background of being a singer-songwriter, poet, novelist, and painter that we talk about Art Nouveau and Nancy.

He does have a distinctive deep, rich, and expressive baritone voice.

... okay the theme of the ttt is songs with Nancy in the title!

I went to google and up popped Fancy Nancy 👀

Skip and Flip - Fancy Nancy

Another tune before my time and this was from 1959!

I must admit I had never heard of Skip and Flip, but Skip & Flip were an American pop duo consisting of Skip Battin and Gary S. Paxton..

Fancy Nancy - she's got it all!

It is pretty catchy and I will listen to some more of Skip and Flip while I do some work later this morning!

However, we need the third tune so back to google we go...

... and actually it is off to Ireland we go.

Richie Kavanagh is an Irish singer-songwriter and comedian. He is known for his humorous and often satirical songs about Irish life and culture.

So we close out with a fun tune ...

Richie Kavanagh - Her Name Is Nancy

So there we have, this week's ttt did in fact end up being three songs with Nancy in the title!

Which was your favourite tune? Or is it a Nancy that wasn't played?

Note: The three YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎶🎵🎶

Thanks for visiting!

Yes when I saw the book with Edward I Said, then Nancy had to be the post @nancybriti1
I am happy I made your morning querida 😎

Enjoy your day and enjoy the tunes

Thank you and you as well.

What! No Nancy Sinatra? Shame on you! :) Just kidding. Great songs and a great theme!

hehe I did think of Sinatra first right enough.

Another great old school collection' back in the day when music was music unlike the things there sing now

hehe thanks Freda, yeah music was music and you could understand it!

Exactly

Very nice your proposal today. The song that I liked the most was the "Fancy Nancy" more upbeat. I read about that city and it has many interesting things especially in musical culture, theater and cinema. Thanks and excellent week to you.🤗

Yes I think Fancy Nancy was the most upbeat song too!
Am glad you liked it @mamani and I wish you a wonderful week.

Never heard of Nancy before😂.

hehe well now you have 😎

Wow, you must have dug deep in the record vault on these! Great songs though, before our time for sure!
