A warm greeting to all members of the #Music community and to all those who love this divine art of combining sounds. Today I have the pleasure of sharing my trumpet interpretation of “I Want to Hold Your Hand”, a pop rock song by The Beatles composed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. I love its repetitive lyrics, its message about love and connection, as well as its honesty and optimism. I have seen several documentaries about the Liverpool Quartet, and the euphoria they caused was incredible. This song is iconic in the 60s and pop culture. The melody is incredible and has a comfortable range; Lennon and McCartney’s voices are a perfect match. The challenge was to find a track that would suit the trumpet. First I found a score in A major, and since I found it too high, I looked for another key. In the end, I found one in G major. Another thing that caught my attention is that in the final bars, there is an addition of clapping that generates a sense of community and celebration.

Un saludo cordial a todos los miembros de la comunidad de #Music y a todos aquellos que aman este divino arte de combinar los sonidos. Hoy tengo el agrado de compartir mi interpretación con la trompeta de «I Want to Hold Your Hand», una canción pop rock de The Beatles compuesta por John Lennon y Paul McCartney. Me encanta su letra repetitiva, su mensaje sobre amor y conexión, así como su honestidad y optimismo. He visto varios documentales del Cuarteto de Liverpool, y era increíble la euforia que causaban. Esta canción es totalmente icónica de la década de los 60 y de la cultura pop. La melodía es increíble y tiene un rango cómodo; las voces de Lennon y McCartney son una combinación perfecta. El reto fue encontrar una pista que se adaptara a la trompeta. Primero encontré una partitura en A mayor, y como la encontré muy alta, busqué otra tonalidad. Al final encontré una en G mayor. Otra cosa que me llama la atención es que en los compases finales hay una adición de palmas que genera una sensación de comunidad y celebración.
One of the great challenges of this time is the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI). At the University where I study, there is a code regarding this. When we make a report, we must complete a series of criteria. After we attach it, the educational platform uses a tool called Turnitin to identify possible similarities with other documents on the web. I find it impressive when I hear a song built with AI; however, there is a discussion about whether it is ethical, transparent, and responsible. The identity of the musical creator is lost, because the song is built based on someone else's creations. AI is built based on other things found on the web. This is a complement and should not be a substitute. The best way to cultivate creativity is to learn, listen, and in some cases inspiration finds us working and leaving our daily environment. In our beloved Blockchain, it is important to act ethically and responsibly.

Uno de los grandes desafíos de este tiempo es el uso ético de la inteligencia artificial (IA). En la Universidad donde estudio existe un código al respecto. Cuando realizamos un informe, debemos completar una serie de criterios, y luego que lo adjuntamos, la plataforma educativa usa una herramienta llamada Turnitin para identificar las posibles similitudes con otros documentos dentro de la web. Me parece impresionante cuando escucho una canción construida con IA; sin embargo, cabe la discusión de si es algo ético, transparente y responsable. La identidad del creador musical se pierde, porque la canción es construida basada en las creaciones de alguien más. La IA se construye basado en otras cosas que se encuentran en la web. Esta es un complemento y no debe ser un sustituto. Lo mejor para cultivar la creatividad es aprender, escuchar, y en algunos casos la inspiración nos encuentra trabajando y en saliendo de nuestro entorno cotidiano. En nuestra amada Blockchain es importante actuar con ética y responsabilidad.
