Music #TBT - Venezuela (Short)

I must confess that I'm very excited with all my projects and I'm starting to see the result of so many years of effort and perseverance.

Seeing that today is Thursday, that many platforms use the #tbt #throwbackthursday #juevesretro and more, to bring a memory that is meaningful to one, I wanted to do the same here today and bring a fragment of a very special day for me.

Two years ago I had my first live performances, with group accompaniment, on that occasion with a sextet. It was in the framework of a Russian fair, in the facilities of the Centro de Arte La Estancia, in the city of Caracas.

There I had the opportunity to show my work, which aims at a salsa that has a much more universal character, which includes singing in different languages. So I took the opportunity and presented there part of my repertoire in Russian. But, of course, I also sang my compositions and versions of Venezuelan songs, played with salsa rhythms.

At this moment I am particularly moved by this memory, which also meant that I was entrusted to present my proposal in an event of enormous importance. Confidence that one needs to perceive to be able to continue with firmness in the projects.

Debo confesar que ando muy emocionado con todos mis proyectos y empiezo a ver el resultado de tantos años de esfuerzo y constancia.

Viendo que hoy es jueves, que en muchas plataformas se usa el #tbt #throwbackthursday #juevesretro y más, para traer algún recuerdo que sea significativo para uno, quise hacer lo mismo hoy acá y traer un fragmento de un día muy especial para mí.

Hace dos años tuve mis primeras actuaciones en vivo, con acompañamiento de grupo, en esa oportunidad con un sexteto. Fue en el marco de una feria rusa, en las instalaciones del Centro de Arte La Estancia, en la ciudad de Caracas.

Allí tuve la oportunidad de mostrar mi trabajo, que apunta hacia una salsa que tenga un carácter mucho más universal, lo cual incluye cantar en distintos idiomas. Así que aproveché y presenté allí parte de mi repertorio en ruso. Pero, por supuesto, también canté mis composiciones y versiones de temas venezolanos, tocados con ritmos de la salsa.

En este momento me resulta particularmente emotivo este recuerdo, que también significó, que me confiaran presentar mi propuesta en un evento de enorme importancia. Confianza que uno necesita percibir para poder seguir con firmeza en los proyectos.
