The plum blossoms are starting to fade away, and some of the earlier varieties of cherry blossoms are replacing them. But one can still find some hanging around here and there.
Along with the plum blossoms, if you keep your eyes open you can always find mejiro or Japanese-white eye. These small birds are attracted by the sweet scent of the plum blossoms, I'm told. Here I found one!

Seems like he noticed me. Or not, who knows. These birds dart around faster than fast, so catching them is always a challenge.

Looks like he was preparing to dive-bomb something there. Not sure what was going on.
There were several flying around, but those two were the only clear photos I got. The rest were either blurry or had blossoms or branches in the way. Oh well!

By the way, I have listed all three of these photos as NFTs on OpenSea. I only minted 5 copies each, so if you'd like one, better hurry. Usually I sell prints starting at $200, so I set these NFTs around half that price at .05 ETH (on Polygon) each. Thanks @dmilliz for the pointer.
You can find the links to the NFT underneath each photo.
