Spotted in the Blossoms ~ Birds of Japan

in #hive-1949133 years ago

The plum blossoms are starting to fade away, and some of the earlier varieties of cherry blossoms are replacing them. But one can still find some hanging around here and there.

Along with the plum blossoms, if you keep your eyes open you can always find mejiro or Japanese-white eye. These small birds are attracted by the sweet scent of the plum blossoms, I'm told. Here I found one!

Seems like he noticed me. Or not, who knows. These birds dart around faster than fast, so catching them is always a challenge.

Looks like he was preparing to dive-bomb something there. Not sure what was going on.

There were several flying around, but those two were the only clear photos I got. The rest were either blurry or had blossoms or branches in the way. Oh well!

And here are the lovely flowers they were after!

By the way, I have listed all three of these photos as NFTs on OpenSea. I only minted 5 copies each, so if you'd like one, better hurry. Usually I sell prints starting at $200, so I set these NFTs around half that price at .05 ETH (on Polygon) each. Thanks @dmilliz for the pointer.

You can find the links to the NFT underneath each photo.

Let me know how it goes. Try with some one off editions too in another collection.

Ps: and now I shall learn from you. Each one teach one.

Thanks man. Good luck to you as well.

The best time to see them are with the plum blossoms. They also sometimes could out for the peach blossoms, and you can draw them out with mikan, a trick many bird photographers use.

The flowers are very beautiful and give us a passionate and exciting photo. Here, too, the trees are in bloom. I'm looking for an opportunity to go and photograph

They are one of the best subjects for photography. Hope you can get some good shots!
