When I first approached the bushy plant this little creature was patrolling, I was a little bit disappointed because I thought that I saw the same Weaver Ant again and again.
But I was not ready for the surprise, because when I try to look closer, I learn that this small lonely creature is actually an imposter, having the appearance of the other species, even from another family.
What I thought was a weaver ant was actually a bug. I learned it after reviewing the first few shots and learned that the mouth part is different from the normal ant, it doesn't have the jaw, but rather a long sucking mouth. This is definitely a bug that was doing a brave imposing style and wanted to be a formidable weaver ant.
Even Google miss identifies this little creature when I tried to search it on Google images, and all google suggested was the Weaver ant. It shows how great the mimicking ability of this little creature is.
This is might be one of the species from the Riptorus Genus, Riptorus sp, from the Allydidae family.
