As I mentioned in my last post yesterday, last week I went to visit George and the bunnies. George is not my friend, although I have tried to make friends with him several times, but with not much luck so far.
Last week I was excited to see George again and when I stepped in his "room", he was resting as always.
George
This is George and this is how he received the guests last week. It was in the afternoon, around 6pm or 7pm.
His owner told him to get up as guests arrived, but George was not really interested. The owner petted him, which George liked a lot, but that was all. He went back to resting as his days has been very difficult. Dolce far niente all day every day is hard work and George was tired.
So after a short chat, I went back to George, hoping he'd be more kind to guests.
He was still resting and looked at me very suspiciously.
Then this happened. He did it again, he stuck his tongue out again! Just like last time. Not nice George, not nice! You don't treat guests this way!
This is his dirty nose :)
The Bunnies
After my failure with George, I went to the bunnies, which are next door, basically they are neighbors. This cutie pie was the first one I had the pleasure to pet. Look at how cute it is 🐰
This little black one is famous for its uneven ears. I'm not sure why but the two ears are falling in different direction and it's funny.
Another cutie pie with white nose and white paws.
Meet the crowd.
Cuteness at the highest level!
"What's going on there? Why is this giant here?" 😂
"Very suspicious! Better keep an eye on her. God knows what she wants!"
These cuties are the newcomers in the bunny family.
And this is the rest of the family.
I was told I can take home a little bunny and keep it as pet. I said Thanks but no thanks as keeping an animal in an apartment is not right. So I'd rather go visit these cuties every time I can, but I'm not going to torture then in an apartment.
The Cat
I met this cat near a bench and surprisingly she did not run away. Most likely she's used to being around people (if it's a she at all).
She was trying to tell me something, but we don't speak the same language, so I did not understand what she wanted.
I'm not a cat fan, but this one had some nice colors.
At some point she got bored, turned around and went away.
It was fun photographing these animals, even though it's not easy, especially with the bunnies, when there's more than one. They move like crazy, so I just take a bunch of photos, click, click, click and hope there's one or two I can use. However, practicing is always good.
George is a different matter as he's not moving much, his weight is not letting him, plus he's lazy too. This is good and bad as well as there are no angles to exploit. I either catch a few good shots, or not. Looks like him sticking his tongue out has become a habit, so I suppose whenever I go visit, I can take a tongue photo.
The cat was a bonus as that was accidental.
There's this photo I like a lot. I was focusing on the turkey, but my camera decided to focus on the hen. It would have been a cool photo, but I like it anyway.
