A sunset before the storm.

Emergency warnings were sent out to all of the coastal towns.

A note to all of the travellers. You will see some majestic sunsets when you visit the shores of the Western Cape Province in South Africa.

This post can be seen all across the world, and many have told me that a visit to our country is at the top of their travel lists. So, it is to you that I send this post. South Africa is known as one of the friendliest countries to visit in the world. The people are warm and welcome everyone with open arms. Sadly, like all the other countries across the world, one always has to take precautions about their safety, but experienced travellers will know about it and first-time travellers can always travel with a tour group.

This is what I saw at home, and I knew that there might be a sunset on show.

Finally, all things started to fade.

I have posted some other dramatic sunsets over the years, but this one felt calm and beautiful. We have now had so many cold fronts over the winter period, and many of the fronts created much damage with very strong wind gusts and tons of water coming down. It sort of feels like it will never end, as we are now deep in the spring season and still the cold fronts keep on coming in. Summer will soon be upon us, which means we are out of our winter rainy season and we hope that the weather will settle down. Farmers are also worried about their crops due to the abundance of water, as failed crops can endanger the food security of our people. We know that other farmers across the world are also having a torrid time with the abnormal weather patterns, and the word is out that things will get worse weather-wise. The main contention point is that too much toxic air is released into the atmosphere, and that is why the weather patterns are changing.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
