...for that's where pure freedom soars.
The line of trees stood like sentinels, protecting the mountain while the mountain used the wind to fire up cloudy streams into the sky.
So, this is my idea of peace and freedom for our embattled souls. Nothing comes easy, and if it's easy then it is not worth it. All of us on this planet have faced some serious battles in our times, and the hurts are all stored in our memory banks. Even though we like to think only of the good times and all of our victories, the hurts remain dormant, to affect our actions at times. But nature shows us here how to release it all from the hurt banks in our minds, by simply releasing it all like streams of clouds into the sky. I think that nature's lesson here, is to show us how to release our tensions.
Just my way of looking at things, when I am out with my camera.
And now for some other random views that popped up on our drive.
That valley below was carved out by the rainwater over centuries, and the mountain allowed it, as it waters the lands below.
Like a bird we can set ourselves free by simply discarding the past and creating new futures for ourselves every new day.
Some say life is a tough nut to crack, and many others disagree. Some have a secure grip on life, and others suffer a lot. We are all different and there are no two that think the same. Yet when they place us in schools, they force a curriculum down our throats that is supposed to mean the same thing to all of us. But it doesn't work, as we all have different talents and thoughts. School was a real burden for me, as most days I got blessed with a hiding for staring out of the windows at the sky. So, me and schooling were not the best of friends, as I am a practical dreamer. In any case, I dropped out to get a job and to help my single mom with the upkeep of our rented house. Now in my old age I have no regrets, even though I earned a BTh degree, I have never allowed myself to think that I am better than anyone else. I am an avid reader, and I got most of what I know from reading many books and anything that I could lay my hands on, and that was my real tutor. Oh yes, I make many mistakes, but who of us doesn't, but I simply carry on by forgiving myself. Live and let live in kindness is really a great motto to have.
Enough said, as such is life.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
