The sky was almost covered in dark rain clouds, but there was light on the mountains.
The clouds were dark and foreboding at the west, but the east held the last of the light.
I spotted a glimpse of the light from the road at the front of our place and took it as a signal by Mother nature to tell me to climb onto the roof.
Of course when Marian saw me with the ladder, she wanted to have a heart attack, but I assured her that all would be fine. I cannot just sit around and a man has to find things to do, so I climbed onto the roof.
Come and see what I got.
The mountains were adamant to hang on to the last vestiges of light and it was a fascinating show. Sadly, the light on the roof was a bit dark, but I was thankful that I could get anything at all. I don't have Photoshop and from what I have seen from some of my friends here on Hive, I think that Photoshop could certainly have enhanced the photos. But be that as it may, I still think that these photos are not too bad. In fact, good enough to post. What say ye? :)
So here you have it and it was the best that I could do under the dark circumstances. But please know that I am not complaining about the light, as we have to take all of the chances that we are given. I wanted to show you the beauty and my love for that white line of clouds under the mountain peaks. Life works like the ocean waves, up and down and one has to wait for the correct wave to surf with a camera :)
I hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.
