Its the season to keep working strong. So im here at the Sleep Lab, on an easy night š
Just 1 patient tonight, instead of my usual 2. That means, i have less to do, and i can chill a little bit. I also have a student here with me, because i have been doing this job for about 15 years now. To those who havent seen me talk about the Sleep Study, basically a sleep study is when a patient comes in for a test. We look at a lot of different parameters, including respiratory, EKG (heart), EEG (brain waves), EMG (muscle activity), oxygen, and couple other things. They stay hooked up with a lot of wires (which are annoying of course), and for about 6 to 8 hours, until about 5am when i have to wake them up and clean everything up. Then i finish the study, mark everything, finish my notes and report. Eventually i am done with tasks, scanning, made a couple calls already, and then its time to finally go home.
Kind of a summary of a usual night here. So tonight, its just Me, my Student, and 1 patient (which is already asleep now), and the study is running on the computer as we watch. This particular study is easy too, because the patient does not have that much going on....so yay.

These are our rooms, we have 4 here total, and they are halfway decent. Not super fancy and a little out dated, but we take care of it the best we can.
Im trying to keep the pictures going here but suddenly Ecency is experiencing an issue and keeps shutting down on me, while trying to upload. Maybe an update is coming soon. Android is telling me ecency has a bug, which ive never seen come up before.

Well, whatever. The night is moving on here anyways. I got a big order from Dunkin. Some coffee (a Cappuccino), a couple sandwiches to feed my duck face.
