MARKET FRIDAY :- UNEXPECTED MARKET FRIDAY AT THE GAS STATION

in #hive-1963083 years ago

Hi hivers, I hope you're all doing well and having a great start to the weekend. It is another Friday which means is another #marketfriday initiated by @dswigle.

I wasn't able to take part in the last week market Friday because of my traveling to another but I am happy to be participating in today's #marketfriday.

It happens that this afternoon,my wife is cooking and I am inside watching a movie not until I heard her voice calling my name. And you can't believe what she told me, she said that the gas has been exhausted. I wasn't surprised but why should it be when I am hungry most.

I instantly removed the burner off the gas cylinder and left for the gas station with a bike man.

The name of the gas station where always refill my gas is called LITE GAS STATION. And they are one of the best in my area when it comes to quality cooking gas.

On arriving at the gas station, I am glad that I don't meet a long queue like the last time. And what amazed me is that the price of the gas has fell down compare to the last time I went there.

Before filling the gas, I have to first take a measurement of my gas cylinder which is 6.9kg and after refilling, I weighed the gas cylinder again and this time it weighs 13.25kg which means a total of 6.35kg gas has been filled in to my gas cylinder.

The LITE GAS STATION is located along Fate Road, beside Bovas gas station. And that is the receipt I received for refilling my gas cylinder in the picture above.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by me, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me

So you have to carry the tank and get it filled and bring it back...

Now I feel spoilt. Here, we call the guy, and they will swing by with a full tank, replace the old tank, and leave.

But I must say I do like your gas tank better. It is cuter than the ones here ;p

Hope you got an amazing meal after ;D

Yeah, I did have an amazing meal. And here we're used to carrying the gas tank, though some people call for home service. Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate it. Take care and stay safe

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
