I know this might sound weird, but this is what makes my dog’s day. First of all I want to clarify that my dog doesn’t go to any dog pool. However, he loves spending time playing at our local fountains, which are basically pools for dogs.
In Barcelona during summer the weather is very hot and there is also a lot of humidity. Enzo spends the day sleeping at home, and when it’s time to go to the park, so he can play and run with other dogs he just lays in the shade doing absolutely nothing.
That’s when I start questioning myself if I should go home since he isn’t doing anything, because I’m basically ‘wasting my time’.
Yesterday because of this I decided to take Enzo to the park’s fountain. There, there were a lot dogs playing in the water or simply taking a bath. So I tried to do the same with Enzo.
To be honest Enzo was quite hesitant at first, so I had to help him get into the water. And then of course as I expected he started playing and running around as he usually does.
Once he was refreshed he had much more energy and he looked much more happier.
He also enjoyed just sitting in the water.
I am definitely bringing Enzo here more often!
