🕺 Welcome to the Scholar and Scribe Invitational 🕺
The Invitational is our bi-weekly, super-duper, writing contest. It is where we match quills and draw blood all for the sake of the craft. We all know a 'friendly' competition never hurts anyone, much, especially when it can be used as a platform to improve your writing. 🙌
🥳 Last Invitational Winners 🥳

@alonicus - The Girl On The Wall
He stood and followed the man to the dig site a hundred yards away. A small cluster of local archaeology students stood around waiting for Mike. He was no older than them, but they looked up to him as Professor Jackson's assistant. When he'd graduated from Oxford with honours the previous year, his tutors had said he was the most promising archaeology student they'd taught in many years.
🥈 Silver: 40 SCHOLAR, 2 SCRIBE, 1 HSBI, 200 Ecency points
@popurri - Encuentro en Tritón
That moon was so different and yet so similar to what I knew. It sounds like a contradiction, but I felt that somehow I had been here before my boots hit the ground, if you can call the gelatinous, blue-colored mass that covers the surface of Triton, the moon of the planet Neptune.
🥉 Bronze: 30 SCHOLAR, 1 SCRIBE, 100 Ecency points
@rinconpoetico7 - Love without race or color
In an old cabin in the middle of the Amazon jungle, Laura Smith, a Canadian photographer, 1.73 meters tall, white as a cloud, blonde hair like ripe wheat, and that beautiful pair of intensely blue eyes, who loved to explore animal life in their natural habitat in the mountains, had arrived with a group of tourists but decided to detach from them and stay alone in that old cabin, offered by the tour company that had contacted.
