The News

There are just four days until @hivefest kicks off. I will get in late on Tuesday evening from Luton, so may not make it to the introductory drinks, but I will stay until Sunday evening to have a look around Split. I look forward to seeing some old friends and to meeting some people for the first time. I can see that a fair few people have bought tickets, so I am hoping for a big crowd. There were a lot at the first couple I went to in Lisbon and Krakow, but not so many at the second Amsterdam event. I keep telling people that it is worth going to connect with Hivers, but I understand that it is not viable for some. This is why we need meetups all over the world and they can be on a smaller scale.

We definitely need to get a buzz going around Hive. The current slump in crypto prices is hitting $HIVE, but I see Justin Sun's shitcoin has gone up a bit. Did he ever do anything with the old chain? I guess he can afford to write off a few million.

If you can afford to buy some $HIVE and power it up then it helps to reduce the available supply. You can get a nice return by holding it and curating or you can convert to $HBD for a guaranteed return (currently 15%).

• There will be people from @splinterlands @threespeak, @liotes and InLeo.

I will skip the negativity of The Dog House this week as I am in a good mood for Hivefest. I shall be packing my bags over the weekend. It looks like it could rain, but it will be fairly warm. I want to go running and may get a swim.
