I was going to create my usual price chart, but @coingecko seem to have some issues. That may mean you see $HIVE being at zero on the Peakd wallet page.

What you may also have noticed on the wallet page is an option to buy HIVE with your credit card.

That is using a service from Transak. I am not sure how long it has been available to us. I did look into it and it wants lots of personal details for KYC (know your customer). I got as far as it requesting an image of my ID before I gave up, but it is there as an option to get more crypto. Their fees may make it unattractive to some, but many people have no easy way to buy crypto.

This week @brianoflondon announced something he created to allow you to get Lightning BTC tips as HIVE. You can create a QR code like this to put on Twitter or your own site. I do not have any BTC, so I am unable to give those tips.

The other big news I saw this week is that Bittrex have given St--mit a load of the funds that were stolen from users during the fork that created Hive. This seems very dodgy and you may want to consider whether you use that exchange. With all the value that is being added to Hive it is amazing that anyone wants to use 'the other blockchain', but they may have picked up new users who do not know the situation.

• @fightman is a musician and video creator from Canada.
• @enzibatavia in Northern Ireland has been to some motorbike racing and has video of the bikes.
• @davidfar in the Middle East has concerns that people may think he is trying to cheat Hive. He is a musician trying to pursue his craft, but has also brought in a lot of creative people from the area onto Hive and he is helping them with withdrawals. The money they make from Hive can be very useful, but not everyone has a way to get fiat for crypto.
• @dragosroua has been a Hive witness for years, but is giving it up. I expect it is a lot of work and the rewards for many will not be much. We should appreciate our witnesses. Make sure you use the votes you have to support those who do what you think is good.

The Doghouse

I do not have any specific cases again this week, but we should be aware that people will try to abuse the Hive platform in various ways. If you see anything suspicious you can report it to Hive Watchers. If Hive gets a bad reputation then we all suffer.

If you know people who are struggling to get an account then LeoFinance lets you create one linked to a Twitter or Facebook accounts. In some cases I can create them using my resource credits. We need more people on here creating great content and earning.
