The News
I will start with my regular price chart. The markets seem to be recovering a bit this week. I would love to see $HIVE back over 50c and racing ahead of the 'legacy coin' that ought to have no value now.
The big development this week was the new peakd chat. They have had a chat option for a while that I have used a few times, but the new one is set up to be useful to Hive communities. Each of those has a dedicated chat room. I think moderators can set up sub-categories. There is also one-to-one chat and you can also create group chats. You can look me up there if you want to try it out.
Friday Follows
- @lordbutterfly is making a documentary about Hive. This week he was shooting a Hive rally car driven by @ssekulji. That will get the Hive brand seen by lots more people.
- @muterra is an adventure game built on Hive. They have partnered with lots of Hive dapps so you can buy cards for various tokens.
- @jgiordi is a new Brit on Hive who already has a nice stake. We do need people who can invest, but everyone is welcome.
- @rokasimir is a surgeon who also just joined.
- @danaidhbee is a Scottish musician who just came back to Hive.
These people get a share of the post rewards.
The End
People will ask me how to be successful on Hive. I would say that you need to be active without spamming the blockchain. You need to give something back and no just take. You can build communities or recruit users. It can take time, but if you are seen to be doing good things then it will help. If you are just trying to earn for yourself then it will be an uphill struggle. Hive is pretty small and we all gain if we help it grow. It may not seem 'fair' that others make bigger rewards, but that can be many reasons. 'Luck' is often the result of hard work.
Have a great weekend and Hive five!
