Good day, Hiveans! Life can be cruel sometimes. We wanted this; we wanted that; Without realizing there’s a time for everything. No matter how you push through to get that stuff, if it is not meant for you, it will not be for you. If it happens to you, accept it and move on. Don’t let your life be stuck by the things that cannot change but shift to the things that can change. I know those things are better, you will not realize it at that point but soon you will. The message may seem pointless, but I want you to be fine while reading my blog.
Today, I want to start sharing a series of blogs about how my ordinary days went. It is titled ordinary because I'm an ordinary girl in this community.
The picture was located at Tapul, Tabogon, Cebu Philippines. This place is supposed to be a port, yet it became one of the chill areas for the locals and visitors of the town. Suppose there is a constant in the world, that will be changed. Way back before, this place is not the same as we look at now. It changed. Before, the area was for swimming and catching fish. When turns into evening, only the light from the moon can make the place bright. There was no streetlight. The kids shouldn't visit the place at night. I remember, there was a folktale about this place, there was a monster who would grab people at night and end dead. I don’t know if it was true, but the story was effective that no kids would try to visit the place at night.
Change is constant as they say. The place turns into the most frequent visiting place of the locals and visitors during the evening. It was because the local government invested in the place. They put up streetlights and some stores to promote the area. The group of food stalls is now called Paseo sa Tabogon.
Paseo sa Tabogon
I think the investment was a success. We need to be here in the afternoon and not in the evening because this place will become crowded during the evening especially if you visit the place on the weekends.
Who would have thought that I as one of the locals in the area, would experience difficulty in finding a spot in this place? Yes, I experienced it one weekend, when we decided to take our dinner here. There were lots of people who chose to have dinner here too on the day of our visit. It consumed more of our time to find a good spot because the area was full.
Having this situation is a benefit to everyone. More people visiting the place means more income to our town, The locals have no complaints about it. It is the evidence that our town has improved and changed for the better.
Thank you for reaching this far. If you want to inspire, learn, and to witness beautiful scenery, experiences, and places, do not forget to follow, upvote, and reblog my post as a way of supporting and motivating me to write more. Thank you.
