Wow, I just realized it's been 5 months since I haven't posted about HPUD and PUM! No worries though, I did power up every first of the month of course, and made sure to qualify for PUM as well. I just haven't posted about it. In May, I had a good excuse, as I was traveling with no computer, and writing a full post on my phone would have been too much of a pain. But the next three are just on me. I actually prepared the data and all, but after a couple of weeks, I just deleted the drafts and said 'next month'. Well, it is finally next month, because I cannot skip it any longer. Moreover, a few major events happen since then. Let's start with the big one sometime in July: I finally became a dolphin! It took me some time but I finally got the notification from hivebuzz:
Then at the very end of July, I reached 4 years on the blockchain! I can't really believe it's been that long but again hivebuzz notification doesn't lie:
The last one is not so major. I understand the reputation is not so important, at least not as it used to be back before my time. But I finally went above 70 and it shows at least the consistency on the chain:
So again, I just couldn't skip my usual HPUD post with all these milestones, and a detailed review of my account growth, performance, goals and targets was also overdue. So let's get to it!
HIVE
Let's start with Hive of course. We didn't change the formula: with most of my posts 100% Powered-up in order to get PUM, it is not so easy to accumulate and convert HBD, so liquid Hive is also scarce. That's why it's the same usual small Power up: 10.666 HP.
I also kept the tradition and every month pushed a tiny symbolic amount of HBD to savings. Even with the reduced 15% APR, it's still good to keep some there, with the compounding effect doing its magic.
As for the account growth, although once again quite consistent and steady, it was slightly better this month. Starting with 5888HP, I could add 163HP to reach 6051HP. The last time I revised my target, it was 4.5HP per day, so this is way better! Of course, the Hive price going down helped in this case.
Adding today's Power Up, we are at a final total of 6062HP for an overall increase of 174HP in August! Like I said, that is better than the last few months and once again it shows consistent growth.
SPORTS
It's not been as good for SPORTS. I lost one of my big SPORTS supporter and that shows on the growth. But we're still adding somewhere between 300 and 400k every month, and we also finally made it above 20M. That's another milestone I guess.
ALIVE
The status of the We Are Alive tribe is a bit unsure at the moment, but I am still staking everything I make, hoping that at some point, it will come back to what it used to be. In fact, the growth accelerated for me with more than 700AP added to my Power the last three months, way above my 500AP monthly target.
PHOTO
The growth has been faster for PHOTO as well. I often had trouble setting my target for this one, and I think it was around 1000 a month. I added way more than that the past 3 months, even more than double that last couple months!
LOLZ
It's been okay for LOLZ as well, at least on target (between 200 and 250 a month), or even better the last couple of months.
Targets
- For Hive, let's keep the target at 4.5HP daily. If I can reach it one more month, then I will raise it again.
- Like I said, it's been a bit challenging for SPORTS. So, let's make the target 300k, that should be doable.
- We're doing good for ALIVE, so let's see if we can increase it to 700AP monthly. It's challenging but it's been done the last three months, so why not?
- I'm a bit surprised with the PHOTO acceleration but let's raise the target as well: 2000 a month! Again, challenging but why not?
- I will be happy if I can stay in the 200-250 range monthly for LOLZ, but if we can do better, like last month, we will try of course.
- I also keep adding small amounts to my diesel pools, but I still don't really have any targets. It's just like bonus really.
And that is it. Several milestones the past few months, but really, the trajectory stays the same: consistent and steady growth! It's always been my objective, so let's stay the course.
