Y'all when I received the notification from @hivebuzz yesterday that I was now a Minnow, I gasped and shouted out, "I'M A MINNOW!"
I then ran to my youngest son to tell him the news and he told me, "Congratulations, Mom!"
I kept saying, "I'M A MINNOW!" out loud because I was both surprised and delighted by the news. Anyone outside of Hive would think I'm nuts to be so happy, but IYKYK.
Then I told my oldest son and he looked at me puzzled until I said, "I'm not a Red Fish anymore." To which he replied, "Oh, that's great, Mom. Congrats!" Because he also knows.
Then I took a photo of my new badge and sent a text to my friend @shainemata who has been our family's guide throughout this Hive adventure. He replied with, "Woohoo"
So, why am I sharing this with you? Other than to share in my joyous celebration worthy milestone?
Being a creator on Hive is so much better with a family, friends, and the community we build on Hive. The world outside of Hive has no understanding of what a big milestone this is for me. But I have a community of people (you) who do understand.
I have found such value in the wonderful world of Hive. It's easy to evangelize what Hive has to offer creators. It's been a grand adventure so far. I thank you all for being part of my journey. I also thank you for allowing me to be part of yours.
I don't know about you, but I'm ready for more adventuring. After all...I'm a Minnow!!!
