Once again, I am looking for authors to vote for. It seems that when I find someone who gets into the 'writing thing' and powers up, in a few months, they give up, power down, and send it all to Binance.
HIVE is a long-term project, we are not in it for quick wins, but most new people don't see it this way. Many are powering down now, and I don't blame them.
We are approaching a specific time when selling makes sense, and I will be among you.
However, I am getting side-tracked again so let me ask you. Are you not getting enough attention, you think you can write, make people laugh, teach them something or just brag about your holiday, new car, new cat, new sex toy?

I am a fussy bastard when it comes to dishing out votes, there's little question there. I manually curate who I follow, but after that, there's always voting power left. Do you want some votes? Put yourself forward, or the bloke next door, or your cousins, grandfather's parrot.
I don't care and don't be shy. Blow your own trumpet, that's what it's there for.

Because, it’s got all kinds of checks in many functions to enumerate you, your post, and… well that’s all I will say. I won’t have it exploited. It would be safe to say I add functions to it frequently, and authors have been removed from it.
I tend to let the anti-abuse guys let me know about such things.
As of now, there are 315 accounts on the approved list. The BOT is written in Python and is a labour of love. This is FREE, there is no charge, no cost, for me it’s something to incentivize authors on HIVE.

If I do add you, don't expect votes. It randomly chooses one from the 'list', does the 'checks', and then gives you a vote. If your account or the post is not suitable it will simply pick another name until I am out of go-go juice.
What's 'go-go juice'? I do like to keep people guessing, it keeps us young and stirs the brain cells, so I'm not telling. It's not tough to figure out.

If you get occasional or frequent votes from me, then don't put yourself forward. I can't vote for you twice, and you are hardly the 'chosen'. I'm no Whale but still pack a punch.
If your account is less than THREE months old, be my guest and put yourself forward but there will be no chance of votes until after 90 days.
Too many scammers on this chain and I am a non-trusting motherfucker… sorry.
If this list suddenly doubles in size, you the 'chosen' ones may get fewer votes. I only have so much voting power after all and it’s a random pick system.
Why did I go to the trouble of writing such a script that makes lots of checks? That’s easy; it gives me an excuse to write some more Python. At work, I tend to use Powershell, which is quite different.
I don’t want to forget the ‘snake' language, and it's quite the challenge.

As much as I'd like to show you the script running and its output, that will give away the rules. This a shame as it's quite flavoursome and riddled with the most terrible of language.
I can't do this stuff at work, so I make up for it in my own scripts at home.
Hope to look over some accounts and content soon. I love to spread my vote more, especially for good writers who give a shit about HIVE (except for every FOUR years when we get the occasional chance to be rich).
