Currently our map looks like this:
Today I want to continue (and hopefully complete) the random dungeon generation project, using Appendix A from the first edition Dungeon Masters Guide.
As with the previous days we will need our random tables:

We are closing in on the end of this experiment. Today I am going to try and finish the map. We will start in room 31 heading north.
Starting in room 31 heading north...
- A chamber 30' x 50' with one exit. The exit must lead to room 33
- Well that finishes off that area of the map.
Now we are going to explore north from room 1.
- A wandering monster is indicated. lest see what is up this passage.
- Passage turns to the right 90 degrees.
- We then have a side passage to the left 90 degrees.
- After the side passage is a chamber. The only chamber that will fit is a 30' x 30' with a connection to the door in room 3.
Now we go north up the side passage.
- A door to the left.
- Beyond the door is a room 30' x 40' with one door in the left wall.
- Beyond the door is another room 10' x 20' with no exits. This is not much more than a dead end hallway.
- Continuing north up the passage we encounter a side passage to the right 90 degrees.
- Continuing north we encounter an Illusionary Wall concealing a chamber 20' x 40' with one door in the left wall.
- Beyond the door is a room 30' x 30' with one exit in the opposite wall.
- Continuing on we find a door to the left.
- Beyond the door is a passage straight ahead.
- Continuing to the west is a door straight ahead.
- Beyond the door is a room 40' x 40' with no exits.
Continuing down the the passage heading south
- Continue straight for 60'
- A door in the right wall.
- Beyond the door is a room 20' x 20' is about all the will fit.
- The passage south is heading directly towards the door in room 2. I will check what is beyond the door in room 2.
- Beyond the door is a room 20' x 30' this will connect to the passage and finish of this section.
There is only one passage left to explore just south of room 42.
- Continue straight for 60'
- Dead end check for secret doors. A secret door straight ahead.
- Beyond the door is a chamber, unusual shape and size (Ok this will be the final room)
- It is an Octagonal room about 2,700 square feet.
- Ok here it is the final map
Wow that took quite a bit longer than I anticipated. Now for some intrepid DM to fill in the details.
It always amazes me how unique each of these dungeons turn out using this random generator. Of course in todays age you can find a random dungeon generator on the internet to do something similar but I prefer this hands on approach. Doing it this way gives me the opportunity to make changes as I go along and at any moment you can just takeover and draw what every you want. With the computer generated maps you get what you get.
Our intrepid adventurers, having thwarted the plans of the Cult of Evil Chaos once again leave the vile dungeon behind in search of new adventure.
