I was on time for a CSX intermodal train. I was on time for one train then got stopped by another one at the next track a block away. Moments before the train fouled the crossing, a car went around the gates.
There is a huge issue with impatient motorists/people on foot going around the lowered crossing gates because they don't want to wait for the train to pass. It's very dangerous and illegal. You can easily misjudge how fast the train is going, another train on the adjacent track can also surprise you.
