Life, as it is said to be vanity upon vanity. What a world we live in. In life we are not guaranteed of what would happen the next day, yet we make so many plans ahead of us. We even make plans not only for upcoming days, but for months, years and decades to come. Many of which we are not even rest assured to witness.
Only if we could live our lives in a way that we can see what will happen to us in the future, then many people would not even make a smile till the end of their lifetime. Just imagine someone getting to see a future of himself remaining poor despite all of his struggles, how do you think such a person will live the rest of their lives?
What if someone who is filthy rich gets to realize that his life would end in a couple of days, and there will be no use to all of their riches, they cant buy an extra life with their wealth, they can't bribe death. What and how do you feel the countdown will be?
What a life!
We get to see the rich die, we see the poor die, we see younger ones say goodbye and we see the elderly ones say goodbye too. One day we would all say goodbye.
I watched a short reel of a lady being interviewed about her perspective on life and she said, she is not living to impress anyone, nor is she living to make anybody feel happy. She thought of a time when she would leave and everyone around her would also leave, a time she would be long forgotten and no one would even remember she ever existed. So what’s worth it? Even if after all no one would remember her.
The past seems short and the future ahead seems longer. This is because we know the past, and the future remains unknown. Only a few would see a shorter future and a longer past.
One thing that pains me and gives me a lot of concern when it comes to life and our struggles is that at the end of it all we would leave everything behind. It scares me at times and even at some point makes me think about not worrying myself struggling to attain a good and peaceful life for myself.
Only if I could just be in the water swimming all around like a fish, or I could just be the bird flying all around the sky with no worries.
But I am a human, we are created for this. This has been a part of our life. After some time we get down about life, but when life turns to our favour we forget that we already had bad and terrible times in the past. All of these times would erase immediately. And such is life.
No matter what, despite vanity, we still have to keep up with our struggles and achieve our goals in life.
