There are many things in this society which keep getting transferred from generation to generation. The best example of this thing is property. We often see that we live in the houses of our ancestors and whatever property the current generation is accumulating is definitely useful for the coming generations. But sometimes it is also seen that some people want to accumulate property but due to some compulsion they have to sell a lot of property after some time. Well, now we are talking about those things which keep getting transferred from generation to generation. Now if we talk about the punishment for the mistakes committed by our friends. Or if they have done something for which their children are punished, then according to me this thing is absolutely wrong. I am saying this because committing a crime is a wrong thing and the one who commits mistakes here should get punishment for his mistake. It does not make any logic that you are punishing someone else for someone else's mistake. It is true that other things get transferred on their own but all these things are of a different type and the mistakes are a different thing. If a person has committed any crime, then what happens is that even when a case is registered against him, his family members do not get any kind of punishment. Yes, it happens that his family members have to face some interrogation and troubles but it never happens that his family members get punished for it, because if we are looking at that person as a criminal, then what happens in such a case is that all the deeds of that person are recorded in his fate, even if we request the court to give us punishment for it, then no such provision has been seen till date. The one who has committed the crime will also pay for his punishment.

The transfer of good things happens at the will of the person who is transferring them but if we talk about crime then it will be very wrong that someone else gets punished because if people start getting punished without any reason then you will think that it will either be injustice and a wrong message will be sent to the society and many people will try to take advantage of it and in such a situation it is possible that the crime in the society will increase. According to me, thinking about all these things is completely illogical because no person would want to be punished for someone else's crime. There are many people who forget in emotions that they should get punished but this happens very late and that too because the person is emotionally very attached to the other person. But this cannot happen every time because no one can allow this thing.
Instead of thinking about all these type of things, peoples should focus on those things which can reduce crime and how people can be reformed so that they do not take the path of crime.
The society in which people improve themselves, that society progresses very quickly and sets an example among the rest.
