You know what they say about early to bed, early to rise.
I guess mine is just the opposite of that. I slept early yesterday but I woke up late this morning. Not that late but later than the normal time that I used to wake up.
I don’t want to shift the blame so I would not say that waking up late is the reason why I got to church late. In my mind, I was thinking I will get to church early because I started preparing for church earlier than I used to but eventually I still got to church late and I started wondering why I would get to church later after preparing for church quite early.
My time at church
I will say there was not much activity at church today and the moderator really tried to make sure we end the program as soon as possible but irrespective of whether the service closed early or not, I have to stay behind for another program.
After all I went through at church, I decided to go and eat but while on the bus, I started checking my social media and I learnt something which I would like to share with you if you don't mind.
You know what social media is so I don't need to start defining that 😂😂😂
I use twitter most often to learn and interact with crypto OGs but when I need to just laugh, instagram is my go to platform but lately I have been using instagram to learn also by following some people.
What did I learn?
I don't know how this might sound to you but I actually learnt two things.
I learnt how to use voice typing on PC
I don't know how this sounds saying that a grown up adult just got to know that there is a voice typing feature on PC and specifically its a built-in function on windows 10.
At first when I tried it, I got a prompt that I did not activate voice typing so I had to do that from the settings which is just a toggle and the microphone pops up. What will I be saying, I kept talking but this thing is not responding with any text. 😢😢😢
I nearly gave up but I decided to talk to my good friend who has friends that know almost everything. I mean Mr. Google ✔✔✔
I finally realized that I had to drag the microphone to a text field but I have been trying voice typing on the desktop 🤦♂️🤦♀️🤦♀️. I can see the big smile on your face but that's how funny it can be.
In the end, I tried it and it worked even in google doc.
One more thing, you have to be connected to the internet.
I learnt that there are emojis on PC
This is so funny and I have been missing some expressions which make me feel more comfortable using my phone to chat rather than chatting on PC but with these newly found features, I am going to become a friend to my PC rather than my phone.
Big lesson for us
Ideas are always at the infantry stage. You are required to turn it into its full form which can be by learning more but that will require resilience.
If I had decided not to google it, maybe I would not have knew how to effectively use my new discovery.
Also, with all that is being portrayed on social media, it is hard to learn from what is being put out there. Nevertheless , if you're in for learning, you can actually learn and become a pro.
PS: I still typed all this even after finding out about the voice typing. 😂😂😂
