No Guinness to be seen!
Well would at that. Not apint of Guinness to be seen anywhere! No stout , no black stuff, no pints of Guinness at all at all.
Well I don't lie to ye, the thought did cross my mind to have a pint of my beloved Guinness, but I had a savage thirst on me after surfing, so I went for a ice cold Birra Moretti instead and I'll tell you something, it didn't disappoint!!
I do like a pint of Guinness all year round, but certain times call for beer and cider and after catching some decent waves in Lahinch, a pint of beer was just the tonic.
I'll do a worldmappin post on Lahinch soon, but here's a sneak peak for ye.
You really can't beat a surf anytime of the year. It's just a great way to wake you up and use all your senses. Then afterwards, escape into the local pub or restaurant for some nice grub, maybe a hot soup or chowder followed by a steak sandwich or the likes and a nice tasty pint.
I'm already looking forward to my next surf. I hadn't been in ages and I've managed to get out twice already this month and my boys are getting the bug now too, which is great, they'll be better than me in no time!
