in #hive-133233 months ago

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Rise of the Commons" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, All Monsters start the battle Poisoned. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I play in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly examine the game's Ruleset.

Summoner:

I chose the "THADDIUS BROOD". It was a 39-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Thaddius Brood summoner so that my opponent's monsters would have a minus one health and magic attack damage. My team lineup comprised Cursed Windeku, Silent Sha-Vi, Cabalist, Dhampir Stalker, and Helheim Demon.

1st Position:

Cursed Windeku, this card has the thorns ability. It is an 6-mana monster with a speed of 3, 2 melee attack damage, and 10 health with 0 armor protection.

What Transpired in the Battle:

First, monsters took their effect from the summoner ability, and my opponent's lineup comprised six monsters, that is; Ulundin Overseer, Mad Ogre Anachist, Gobalano Soldier, Torch Vizier, Tenyii Striker, and Djinn Apprentice.

In the first round, the Gobalano Soldier with the ambush ability attacked my last position monster first, after the Torch Vizier monster also attacked. Two of my monsters also attacked the first position monster of my opponent after which the remaining attacks from my opponent were missed excluding the magic attack from the Djinn Apprentice monster.

Round 2: In this round, after my opponent's first two attacks, I was able to attack and eliminate the last position monster of my opponent. Later in the round, my last position monster was also eliminated by the Gobalano Soldier monster.

The Dhampir Stalker monster in my lineup also attacked and eliminated the first-position monster of my opponent as well before the round came to an end.

Round 2 to 4:
In this round, I eliminated two of my opponent's monsters in the third round and as the battle went further I was able to eliminate all the monsters in his lineup.

Thank you all for your time and attention while reading my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
