This is the second time I've had dinner in Serbia this week, and no matter how many times I indulge in their cuisine, it never ceases to satisfy me. The food is delicious, affordable, and their hospitality is unmatched.
Serbia is just a stone's throw away from my country, and during the summer, we often make the trip. The town we visit is small like ours, but in so many ways, it surpasses our own.
We arrived at sunset today, and as I stepped out of the car, I couldn't resist capturing a few pictures of the breathtaking sunset. That artificially created lake takes on a poetic allure at this hour, my friend.
True to form, I opted for a pleskavica for dinner, followed by a delightful ice cream for dessert. Let me tell you, their ice cream is out of this world, with a myriad of flavors to choose from.
Every time I go there, I feel a childlike sense of wonder and joy.
However, it saddens me to see the stray dogs, like the one in the first picture. They roam around the restaurants, occasionally receiving scraps of food, but their eyes hold a hint of sadness.
Perhaps life is about more than just eating, sleeping, and mating. Maybe there are more profound aspects that we tend to overlook... just maybe.
Well, it's time for me to head to bed now. I hope this post goes through without any glitches. I had a "failed post" incident on @liketu yesterday, but fingers crossed for a smooth upload this time.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend. Until next time, Hive on!
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
