Today is election day in the US, and if I had to bet on the winner, I’d say Trump. But I can still remember pretty vividly how they rigged the 2020 elections, so I wouldn’t actually put my money on it.
Everything’s calm in my part of the world, but unfortunately, we had quite a fire on a nearby hill. Since early morning, I kept hearing helicopters flying overhead, and at first, I thought it was just an ambulance.
But the noise kept coming. When I stepped outside, I saw a chopper repeatedly swooping down to the lake, picking up water to fight the fire. It did this dozens of times until it ran out of gas and another chopper took over.
Judging by the scope of the mission, which lasted nearly eight hours, I’d say the fire in the woods was pretty bad. My guess? Some dumbass probably started it accidentally with a cigarette or something.
I’d never seen a helicopter fly that close to the water before, nor had I ever witnessed such a firefighting mission until today. I recorded it from two different spots at work, but I’m uploading the best one here, in my opinion.

PS: After 30 minutes of waiting for @3speak to upload my video I quit and will just go with the pics I took at the park... Sorry... I had the intention of uplodaing the video but it seems @3speak app suck on IOS as it did on android as well, and so does on Windows.
Maybe in the future things will get better.
