hello beautiful friends. This is another special week for us here in #hive learners community. I am welcoming everyone back to my blog special. Happy new month too to my friends here.
This image belongs to me.
This is a time for confession. Maybe this week's edition was meant for people like myself who don't really take time to go and check the condition of their health. I can't really recall when last I did that.
For some one like me who don't always fall sick, it is not just easy to wake up one day and say that you want to go for a medical check up. Since when I was a child, I hardly fall sick. Sometimes even when I fall sick I will still refuse to take my drugs. Whenever my mum tires to force me to take the drugs I will end up throwing up. I hated drugs with everything in me. Just that bitterness made me hate it that much. The only time you will see me take drugs is when I can no longer manage. When the sickness is getting out of hand, then I will look for drugs by myself and start to take. But it won't last. Hahaha 😂. As soon as I start getting better I will throw the rest of the drugs away or hide it from my mum. I remember one day when my mum decided to sweep the house because I have been sick for days and the house is too dirty. She was shocked when she saw all the drugs she used her money to buy for me under the bed. I hated drugs that bad.
Aside that most of us believe that even if you are okay, once you go to the hospital to run a checkup on your self, definitely something must come out.nis either the doctors will discover one sickness that you know nothing about or tell you some kind of stories that will make you spend the money you never intended to spend in the hospital. But I believe that it is not correct. We need to run a check up on our health to know what we are up against. I have seen where people just fall and collapse, before you know what is happening the person is gone. Sometimes it is after the person must have died that doctors will discover that he had this deseas or the other. That is what we call medicine after death. But if that person did the right thing by going for health check in the hospital, maybe it will have been treated. But because it was not treated, it went with that life.
When next will I go for medical check up?
Am just planning to start. Not that I have not been visiting the hospital, but that only happens when I am sick. I think it is good to do what we call - prevention is better then cure.
Thanks for always coming to check on my blog. I really do appreciate. Love from @adaezeinchrist.
