Good morning, fellow hivers, welcome to my blog. The environment was littered with different types of waste such as plastic bottles, soda cans, glass bottles, polythene, wraps of sweets and biscuits, water etc. This encourages rats and mice to invade the environment.
Rats and mice will eat open and uncontained garbage, and large populations of flies and rodents may arise if the situation persists over time. Both flies and rats are major carriers of many infectious diseases, including viruses, bacteria, and parasites that are harmful to humans, animals, and the environment. Exposed animal wastes can attract filthy flies, rodents, and wildlife, and the pathogens they carry in their faeces are a major source of bacteria that invade the drains and waterways. Many of these pathogens can live for years in the water and soil. Trash, when not securely contained, provides food and shelter for hungry rodents, this is the reason why places that are littered with waste turn to draw Rodents to the neighbourhoods.
These pictures show how I carried out my cleaning activity.
As my blog continues to grow, please continue to support and engage me.
