Good morning fellow hivers, welcome to my blog. Today I carried out my cleaning activity before going to work.
Mosquitoes are almost everywhere in the community due to the high rate of indiscriminate refuse disposal.
Cans, polyethene, nylon, plastic bottles etc all hold water after any rainfall. This water they hold aids mosquitoes in the process of breeding. As I was carrying out the cleaning I noticed that these insects live mostly in these dump places, a place that had a high level of moisture. They were also hiding in the grass, these grasses must be cut down to prevent them from breeding in these places.
Also, It is so bad that while it is raining, people come out to toss their refuse into the flowing water body. This is a very common act in most parts of the country. People try to do this to prevent them from paying for the services of refuse collection.
The result of these bad practices is that these wastes clog the waterways causing flooding, environmental pollution, the spread of communicable diseases etc.
Let's Kill pollution, before it will kill us.
These pictures show how I carried out my cleaning activity.
As my blog continues to grow, please continue to support and engage me.
