Today teaching was great as bro Daniel taught us the importance of controlling our tongue how our religion will be in vain if we did not control it and doing good for both those of the household of faith and those that did not belong to the household of faith.

"1 peter 3:10. As the scripture says, *If you want to enjoy life and wish to see good times, you must keep from speaking evil and stop telling lies."

"James 1:26. Do any of you think you are religious? If you do not control your tongue, your religion is worthless and you deceive yourself."

Bro Daniel taught us the importance of controlling our tongue we should be careful of what we say and every word that comes out from it. We cannot claim to be religious and not have control over our tongue. This tongue can either push one to greatness or the other way round. The way we speak can make people love the God we serve and want to serve him too.

It is not everything we see we say as Christian and not every word should comes out of our mouth. Our mouth can determine where we want to in life either for greatness or slavery . It is left for us to choose which one we want to use it for but in anything we do we should try and glorify the name of the father through it.

"Proverb 3:27. Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it."

"Ephesians 6:8. Remember that the Lord will reward each of us, whether slave or free, for the good work we do."

The Lord has promised a reward for every good deeds that we redered, we should do good for everybody that comes our way both those that deserve it and those that did not deserve it. It is truth that we live in a world where act of doing good has be misuse to the extend that we are sometimes blame and abuse for our good intentions we should not be move by their act but continue doing the good we know best to do. All of us will need help one day it is our act of doing good that will speak for us.

"John 7:7. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I keep telling it that its ways are bad."

Even if the whole world turn it back on us because of the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ that we practiced we should not be move because God is there for us the teaching that Jesus taught us was given by his father which is our Lord Jesus Christ.

Join us May 20th as we study the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ.
