Today's post is part of the Share Your Battle Challenge with the theme The Dragons.
This time I will use 2 cards from Dragon Splinter and supported by Death Splinter for other cards.

Fear not my departure, for there is fire in your blood. You are all my children and i live always in you. Divine Messengers I will send, and when Glory is attained. I shall return to bring the worthy to the Golden Moon.

ROLE BREAKDOWN

image.pngSUMMONER, I chose Drake of Arnak because he is in the starter card line, so if someone wants to use this strategy there is no need to bother renting or buying him. Besides that, I need the Shield ability to protect my monsters this time, which on average have not too big health.
image.pngTANK/FRONT ROW, One of my considerations for choosing Djinn Chawalla is because of his Thorns ability which is very useful for paying off damage to enemies who attack him. He also has a huge Shield & Health.
image.pngBACKLINER 1, Carrion Shade this time will act as Decoy and Protector from the monsters behind him.
image.pngBACKLINER 2, I project Death Elemental to attack enemies who have long range attack abilities and also destroy enemies with No-Attack which is usually positioned in the last backline so that Silent Sha-vi can be more effective.
image.pngBACKLINER 3/DAMAGER, Silent Sha-vi is the main damager in this battle. With the help of the Shield from the Drake of Arnak. I really hope he can last as long as possible while still trying to destroy the enemy's defenses from behind.

STRATEGIES

  • I will rely heavily on our summoner Drake of Arnak in this battle with the protection of his Shield. This is because some of the monsters that I carry don't have enough Health. Therefore his ability will be very crucial this time.
  • Djinn Chawala with his Thorns will act as a Tank because it has a very large Shield. I will rely on his Thorn Ability to repay the enemy's Health when attacking him.
  • This time I will try to attack the enemy towards his backline by relying on Silent Sha-vi as a Damager assisted by Death Elemental which has Magic Attack which will be very effective in dealing damage even though the enemy has a Shield.

THE BATTLE

ROUND 1

  • The role of the Drake of Arnak in Round 1 is very visible where the opponent is forced not to be able to do direct attacks because of the Shield factor given by him.
  • Djinn Chawalla with his Thorns ability can also do significant damage to enemy tanks.
  • Deeplurker cannot directly damage Djinn Chawala because he was eaten by the Carrion Shade bait that I positioned in Pos 2/Backliner.

ROUND 2

  • Serpent of Eld after losing his Shield in Round 1 finally met his death due to 2 factors. First because of Djinn Chawalla's Thorns ability, secondly the result of Djinn Chawalla & Death Elemental's attacks
  • Carrion Shade is no less important here, as Decoy he continues to divert Deeplurker attacks on himself. This gives an advantage to Djinn Chawalla who takes less damage.
  • Carrion Shade must leave the fight in this Round. But his death was not in vain, because he had succeeded in carrying out his duties well.
  • Silent Sha-vi also with his Sneak ability managed to paralyze the opponent's Decoy filled with Hardy Stonefish. So the enemy defenses that protect their damagers are purely lost from the fight.

ROUND 3

  • The enemy lineup only leaves the Deeplurker and Serpent of Eld who function as Tanks this time.
  • But again, Djinn Chawalla's Thorns ability is very effective in repaying damage to enemies who attack him.
  • In the end the enemy lost the Cruel Sethropod after receiving attacks from Djinn Chawalla and also the Death Elemental.

ROUND 4

  • Deeplurker this time is the only monster that survives in the enemy's stronghold.
  • Although he has a very dangerous attack, but because there is no support from other monsters, he becomes a sandsack for our three monsters who can survive until the final round.
  • And finally we can win this battle with minimal casualties.

match review-03.png

  • The strategy works well where the Shield from Drake of Arnak makes a lot of difference in the course of the match. Likewise with the ability of Thorns from Djinn Chawalla which does a lot of damage to enemies who are superior in terms of Health.
  • For Death Elemental, even though the Snipe ability doesn't come out in this match because the enemy doesn't use No-Attack and Long Range monsters. But he has a very important role because he finally attacks the enemy Tank so that the potential for interference to Djinn Chawalla is very small.
  • Carrion Shade, again proves that he is a reliable decoy. We can see that some of the attacks that lead to him can distract the enemy from attacking our Tank, Djinn Chawalla.

MY THOUGHT : DRAKE OF ARNAK AND DJINN CHAWALLA

  • Dragons Splinters are generally a very strong set of monsters to use in battle, however they will be very effective in battles with very large Mana limits.
  • Dragons Splinter can be used together with other elements. This provides an alternative formation to complement each other between one element with another element.
  • Especially for the Drake of Arnak. I really like the Ability Shield. This can be an alternative summoner if there is no summoner with the same ability.
  • And for Djinn Chawalla, his Thorns ability is really very reliable. The defense ability that deals damage to the enemy is very crucial if the enemy has a very large Health stat.
